Where it came from — Eddie Elkins Orchestra (1922). Eddie Elkins' Orchestra was one of the groundbreaking dance bands of the early 1920s, starting off as a hotel band in Los Angeles and then moving to New York. "Who Cares" was recorded on October 28, 1922 and features some nice pre-Armstrong jazz/novelty trumpet work.
